Why don't my attendees see a Watch Now or Enter the Event button on the event website?

Here's a breakdown of the criteria for attendees being able to launch the online experience from the event website.

For online events (either those making use of Attendease Event Broadcast or those using other providers, like Zoom, Webex, GotoMeeting etc...), please see the following criteria for making sure that attendees see the Watch Now or Enter the Event buttons to launch a Virtual Room.

Attendease Event Broadcast

Single Virtual Room

  • The attendee must be registered for the event

  • The event must be in progress (based on the event dates and times)

Multiple Virtual Rooms

  • The attendee must be registered for the event

  • The attendee must be scheduled for the session in question

  • The session must be in progress (based on the session date and time)

Other Providers

  • A URL must be provided for the Event on the Event -> Media Options page

  • The attendee must be registered for the event

  • The event must be in progress (based on the event dates and times) OR the Enable On Demand checkbox must be checked.

  • A URL must be provided for the Session on the Scheduling -> Sessions -> <Session> -> Media Options tab

  • The attendee must be registered for the event

  • The attendee must be scheduled for the session in question

  • The session must be in progress (based on the session date and time) OR the Enable On Demand checkbox must be checked.
