Calendar files are a standard calendar format used to transfer calendar data between the Attendease platform and your computer or mobile device. Customize how the file will appear by editing below fields:
Summary or heading, which appear as the name of your calendar entry
The location of the event
An optional description
An event URL for more information
How to edit a calendar file
To begin, click the Add to Calendar menu item on the Event tab. Here you can see and edit all above mentioned fields. The calendar file uses the event dates to determine the start and end time of your event. Click here to learn more about how to send a calendar subscription with updated session information to your attendees.
Edit the fields to your liking and click the "Save" button to save any changes. You can also download the calendar file to include in marketing emails, websites, and social media.
Tip: You can use one of the Dynamic Fields to insert a placeholder. Using placeholders means that the selected value is dynamically and automatically updated if any changes are made. To use a placeholder, place your cursor where you want to include the placeholder and then select the field from the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of your screen.
By scrolling down to the bottom of the page you are also able to see a preview of what the calendar file will look like in the attendees' calendars.
